April’s PlayStation Plus games include a PS5 launch title and a new release

The PlayStation Plus Essential games for April have been announced by Sony, and they feature a PlayStation 5 launch title as well as a brand-new game from the creators of Dead by Daylight.

The PS4 and PS5 editions of Sack boy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Creator, and Tails of Iron are the three titles that will be made available on April 4. A LittleBigPlanet spinoff called Sackboy: A Big Adventure was released in 2020 at the same time as the PS5. Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn’t rely on user-generated material like other LittleBigPlanet games do. Instead, it’s a carefully thought-out cooperative platformer that plays much more like Super Mario 3D World.

This post-apocalyptic base-building game from Dead by Daylight creator Behavior Interactive allows players to both build and explore player-created outposts full of lethal traps and guardians. After playing Meet Your Maker’s open beta during Steam Next Fest, I dubbed it one of the “most inventive multiplayer games debuting this year.” Last but not least, there is Tails of Iron, a fantasy side-scrolling action RPG with rats that should pique the interest of lovers of independent games and Souls like. The PlayStation Plus game lineup for April seems to be very varied overall. When the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for April are announced, maybe we can say the same.

From April 4 through May 1, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Creator, and Tails of Iron will be accessible on PlayStation Plus. It’s also a good idea to download the March PlayStation Plus Essential games, Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein, if you haven’t already, before these three games take their place.
