The titles for May’s PlayStation Plus were revealed today, bringing additional game bonuses to the subscription service that will soon change. FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods are among the games. On May 3, each of these games will be available for free download by Plus hub subscribers.
FIFA 22 is a new version of EA Sports’ soccer (or football, depending on where you are) franchise for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 PS Plus subscribers. The FUT Pack for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team will also be available to subscribers. The pack contains 11 more players (ranked 82 and up) who can be added to an Ultimate Team. The Icon Moments Loan Player Select feature also lets players choose some of the most famous players in history.
Tribes of Midgard, a co-op action role-playing game, will also be added to the site. The survival element of this game is its key selling point, as players must cooperate (or play alone in single-player mode) to survive in the Norse mythology-inspired universe. The cooperative option of the game accommodates up to 10 players, making it a social experience.
The last roguelike is Curse of the Dead Gods, which many people have compared to the game Hades. Players are thrown into tunnels in this dungeon crawler as they search for buried treasure, using dark magic to help them survive. A Curse Meter, however, gives the game’s gameplay a “risk versus reward” element.
On May 3, these three games will be available through the PlayStation Plus hub. Users have until May 2 to download the free Plus games from last month, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom — Rehydrated, and Slay the Spire.
